My Say

She is more left-brained than right-brained. Her left brain controls the right side of her body. In addition, she is also known as a critical thinker who uses logic and sense to collect information. She is able to retain this information through the use of numbers, words, and symbols. She usually only see parts of the "whole" picture, but this is what guides her step-by-step in a logical manner to her conclusion.

The Poplar Tree (the Uncertainty)
Looks talented, not very self-confident, extremely courageous if necessary, needs goodwill and pleasant surroundings, very choosy, good organizer, tends to lean toward philosophy, reliable in any situation, takes partnership seriously.

Today, the Cando campaign was so boring...

I reported at 8am at the convention center, waited for 30mins or so just to get to the registration counter to have my attendance marked. The whole registration took 1h+ to complete…so inefficient

Then, we got to the second convection hall when they started to teach us cheers and made us play some ice breaking games which I hate most. The first ice breaking game was bursting of balloons tied around our legs. In order to end the game short, my friend and I agreed on bursting each other’s balloon at the start of the game, so we just laze around the corners watching others running about like crazy, screaming at the top of their voices.

Around 10+, we had to move again to the first convection hall where we had some snacks and do some real business. We were supposed to contribute ideas according to 5 categories; transportation, housing, entertainment, food and fashion. Each group was assigned to one category and we had to rotate our topic for two rotations, contributing our ideas to other groups too. At the end of the third rotation, we got back to our own respective topic and were required to choose a final product for our group. Our group chose a jacket which can charge handphone. Then, we had to merge with another group to finalize the product. The other team chose a belt which can project virtual designs. After much discussion, we decide to merge the two products to a belt that can project virtual designs and charge all electronic items.
Also, we got a chance to market our products and earn fake money on marketing. This amount will be calculated at the end and the group with most money got the longest time to pitch their ideas to the judges again.

Frankly speaking, all the while, I was on a lookout for all the exit doors available and mentally calculating my chances of escaping without being seen. However, the planners seem to have thought about this scheme and had placed at least one usher at every exit at all times. So, my plan failed completely.

I was surprised by our results. Our group got in second within the fashion topic. For this, I’m guilty to say that the guys were doing most of the works, pitching and finalizing the product, whereas the girls lazed around a lot. =x
