My Say

She is more left-brained than right-brained. Her left brain controls the right side of her body. In addition, she is also known as a critical thinker who uses logic and sense to collect information. She is able to retain this information through the use of numbers, words, and symbols. She usually only see parts of the "whole" picture, but this is what guides her step-by-step in a logical manner to her conclusion.

The Poplar Tree (the Uncertainty)
Looks talented, not very self-confident, extremely courageous if necessary, needs goodwill and pleasant surroundings, very choosy, good organizer, tends to lean toward philosophy, reliable in any situation, takes partnership seriously.

I’m so fed up with the BSTA tutor today; this is what happens during BSTA:

I’m in BSTA lesson, staring at the time tickle away seconds by minutes, yearning for the lesson to end earlier. Its real boring now and I just can’t stand it!!! The lecturer is always talking some alien language that I don’t understand. Ehhh!!! I abhor attending this class every Monday morning, got to endure about 2 hrs weekly. Why is there an e-lecture this week but no e-tutorial??? =(

Ehhh!!! She is going through some really simple questions step by step. Come on, it’s just a question on answering independent /dependent and I REALLY SEE NO NEED TO EXPLAIN STEP BY STEP! Furthermore, she not giving out answers to the tutorial as she feels it’s kind of SPOON-FEEDING us??? Does she really understand the definition of spoon feeding??? Can’t stand! X(

I attended the Amore Arabian Appreciation Night at Amore Fitness & Boutique Spa that was arranged by the Aerobics Club. We met up with the Aerobics club at Dhoby Ghaut station and were being brought to the Amore Fitness & Boutique Spa located in Parkmall. It was really beautifully furnished with a huge studio and a fully equipped gym. Steam bath or in other words sauna is also available there.

Before the start of the program, they arranged to provide services like air free tattoo and some handicraft drawings(something like that) for early birds. At around 7+, we were being invited into the studio whereby we had an hour of belly dancing lesson. I made a fool of myself by messing around with steps and struggled to keep up. The dinner I was longing was finally up next and the food did not disappoint me. At 830+, we collected our goodie bags and home sweet home.

    YES! YES! YES! YES!
Believe it or not, I actually PASSED my BSTA test 2! Although it was just a few marks over pass, it was still such a good new. According to the results, I was the second from behind, and I must be crazy to get so elated. But due to the anticipation of having failed, pass is really far out of my expectation.
Gotta brush up more on my BSTA, I don’t want to retake the module again.

During BCOMM today, our classmates gave some presentations that were supposed to be graded. The topic was to choose a destination and introduced it. It was so interesting listening to those destinations’ attractions and I love to go all.
Got to go prepare for my own presentation for Friday!

YES!!! I’m back from my outing with ber and got to watch Harry Potter and the order of phoenix that I had been longing for. Although my initial plan was to have Ouran outing…but never mind, next time perhaps.

Anyway, the movie was quite nice with the interesting outline originally. Due to the huge response, movie showcasting in the afternoon were left with only seats in the first two rows. Thus, ber and I had to meet up at 8:30 just to get the tickets for the 9:30 show. Both of us reached vivo city around 9 and brought ourselves some bread for breakfast. After buying the tickets, we went to 7-eleven where I got myself some crackers and ber brought a beef stick and a packet of sweets.

After we got all stuffs we wanted, we went in for the 2hrs+ show. We were lucky to get the seats around the middle part of the last forth row. I was surprised to see the guy beside me eating a banana!!! The movie ended around 12+ which we got out of the theater and started shopping.

We went in and out of shops, looking at multiple of choices and trying out clothes that we have a liking for, spoiled for choices. At 1+, we went for lunch at kopitiam whereby I got myself a set of jap meal and ber just ate some dian xin. After lunch, we continued with our shopping. In the end, Ber got herself reap of returns with 3 upper tops whereas I got myself a shirt with stripes. It was really a good bargain as I got the shirt for just $13+ after 30% discount. At a point of time, both of us took a liking of a black shirt with straps. Coincidentally, it was the last piece left and ber brought it as she was the one who saw it first.

At 3:10, we left vivo city as ber is having a tution in Bugis at 4pm.

Today was Cando Campaign day 2, Argh!!!
It took me a great deal to persuade myself to be present for Day 2. As I had mentioned earlier, day 1 was already so unbearable, how am I going to get through day 2???

However, it was compulsory for me to be there because:
To pass CATS=attend Cando campaign day 1+2
Fail to attend any one of those days=fail half of the whole assignment=50% possibility to fail CATS= RETAKE CATS!!!
Ahhhh!!! I will NVR EVER let that happens.

Anyway, back to the topic, I reported at blk 72 level 2 at around 7:50 and waited and waited. The actual reporting was 8am but they waited for latecomers and the whole thing only really begins at 9am.

At 9:30 to 10, we got to modify our ideas again. Around 10, we got to move around the campus to pitch our ideas AGAIN to any students in sight. If the student is satisfied with our ideas, they will have to comments on it and take a photo with us. We went back to blk 72 at 11am to turn in our results. Then, we had our lunch and the best 10 groups had to present their products to some VIPs. Luckily for me, my group did not get into the finals and we got a free period between 12 to1:30.

During this free period, I went to the board games counter at the library and to my surprise; it was really fully equipped with some bored games that I had never heard of. However, as there were only my friend and I, we were left with no choice but to play Reversi.

Reluctantly, I met up with my mentor and other group members at 1:30 whereby we had to move to the convection hall 2 to attend some talks. The first one was given by an ex-mass com student of our sch and she was really a good speaker which I enjoyed listening to. However, a good thing never lasts; the first speaker was soon replaced by the second speaker which could have bore me to death. But it was still so rude of some guys at the back row to shout in between of the talks, deliberately intruding the speaker. Then, it was followed by a prize-presentation. Around 4:40, we finally put an end to the Cando campaign. YES!!!

I'm 100% sure that I'm going to fail BSTA test 2...how are u going to pass when u used any formulas in mind and sub by any value u could find in the questions? Now it doesn't matters whether I pass anot, what matters to me is how badly I going to fail!!! Let move on and get ready for the retest!!! =(

Anyway, today we had elearning for BCOMM where we were supposed to go to the chat room and discuss abt casino in US. The discussion went so fast that it was almost impossible to catch all the words, I had to strain my eyes to catch up with the discussion. Luckily, the discussion only carried out for an hour and I got the other hour free. XP

Today, the Cando campaign was so boring...

I reported at 8am at the convention center, waited for 30mins or so just to get to the registration counter to have my attendance marked. The whole registration took 1h+ to complete…so inefficient

Then, we got to the second convection hall when they started to teach us cheers and made us play some ice breaking games which I hate most. The first ice breaking game was bursting of balloons tied around our legs. In order to end the game short, my friend and I agreed on bursting each other’s balloon at the start of the game, so we just laze around the corners watching others running about like crazy, screaming at the top of their voices.

Around 10+, we had to move again to the first convection hall where we had some snacks and do some real business. We were supposed to contribute ideas according to 5 categories; transportation, housing, entertainment, food and fashion. Each group was assigned to one category and we had to rotate our topic for two rotations, contributing our ideas to other groups too. At the end of the third rotation, we got back to our own respective topic and were required to choose a final product for our group. Our group chose a jacket which can charge handphone. Then, we had to merge with another group to finalize the product. The other team chose a belt which can project virtual designs. After much discussion, we decide to merge the two products to a belt that can project virtual designs and charge all electronic items.
Also, we got a chance to market our products and earn fake money on marketing. This amount will be calculated at the end and the group with most money got the longest time to pitch their ideas to the judges again.

Frankly speaking, all the while, I was on a lookout for all the exit doors available and mentally calculating my chances of escaping without being seen. However, the planners seem to have thought about this scheme and had placed at least one usher at every exit at all times. So, my plan failed completely.

I was surprised by our results. Our group got in second within the fashion topic. For this, I’m guilty to say that the guys were doing most of the works, pitching and finalizing the product, whereas the girls lazed around a lot. =x

I had BCOMM around 2+ and we are supposed to do some exercises assigned by the tutor. I was sitted at the back of the class and by taking one glance around, all I could see is neopets, maple, youtube…worst of all, e guy beside me was sleeping, as in putting the whole head onto the table.
Get what I mean??? Ya! This is the usual sign I get to see during every BCOMM. This is practically because our tutor is not strict…

Today, I got to board a SBS party bus home. It was really unique; all the seats were cushion type, arranged in a way that it faces each other, matching with colors of maroon and white, looking like a cozy corner. The special part is the presence of a bar counter, along with two high seats, situated in the middle of the bus. In addition, there were six round seats next to the exit, replacing the usual rectangle seats. Overall, the insides of the bus just looked like a high-class bar, lacking the usual lighting to make it prefect.

Anyway, I have decided to quit NPS for good, which left me with just aerobics and primers. Maybe I’m going to join taekwondo or arching or even the driving club next... but it’s just a thought =X

I didn’t went to sch today, been to see a doc. Waited for an hour or so to get to my turn. There were some rashes surfacing on my hands, legs and thighs, which I thought was something really serious. However, it turned out to be a sign of the stomach disease getting off from my body and is real good news. This means that I’m finally on the road to recovery. =P
Anyway, I did not get to rest or slack at home, I had to do ‘My Portfolios’ on the blackboard which will be due by tmr…Oops, I didn’t even touch it…and my INFA tutorials. Can’t even rest when u are sick. Xp
