My Say

She is more left-brained than right-brained. Her left brain controls the right side of her body. In addition, she is also known as a critical thinker who uses logic and sense to collect information. She is able to retain this information through the use of numbers, words, and symbols. She usually only see parts of the "whole" picture, but this is what guides her step-by-step in a logical manner to her conclusion.

The Poplar Tree (the Uncertainty)
Looks talented, not very self-confident, extremely courageous if necessary, needs goodwill and pleasant surroundings, very choosy, good organizer, tends to lean toward philosophy, reliable in any situation, takes partnership seriously.

    Merry Christmas To All!

Yesterday, I went for Aikido full of doubt. Normally, there shouldn’t be any training as it was Christmas Eve. But I had reassured with Feng again and again and he confirmed that training as usual. In addition, there is a need for me to take some forms from the sensei personally. Therefore, I had to go.

And so, I reached at around 640 and there wasn’t a single soul that I seem to recognise. As the minutes passed by, the suspicion grew stronger and stronger. While I was waiting, members of Aikido started to arrive. Around 7, Feng finally arrived and after confirmation with one of the staff, he informed me that he had been misinformed previously. There wasn’t any training today. As a result, I had wasted a trip.

Later back home, Bro was back from army. As expected, he was larger in size than he was previously and his skin tone was darker. Obviously he had been trained real hard at the camp site. He seems to be more sensible now and I hoped that he could really sort up his thoughts and starts planning for his own future. Haiz...Guys just take longer time to mature...

6 days left to the start of another new term. I still have tons of tutorials to finish, around 4 projects etc etc. Got to brush up and starts working soon or otherwise all the work will start piling up when term starts.

Got a bit irritated for I have been trying for the numerous times to open up a MYOB file to do my assignment and it just can’t open up. I just don’t understand where and what had gone wrong. Now, I will have to be stuck with it until my tutor figure out a solution.

Anyway, life has been pretty hectic for me even when I’m in holidays. Just one holiday of two weeks break, I have a total of 6 projects on hand. This has been the reason why I had to go school for so many days within a week. And by the look of it, next week doesn’t seem to be getting any better.

Yet, this is not the worst part. The worst part is when your group members don’t seem to care a heck of it. Yesterday morning, we had arranged an interview with HR coordinator from the Salvation Army for our IAC project. We had resorted to meeting an hour earlier for the interview to avert two of my group members from being late. Time passes and in the end, only 2 out of 5 members in the group turned up, including me. As a result, my friend and I waited for an hour for NOTHING. I just can’t believe how irresponsible they can be. It was the only one interview we had and it was essential for the whole project. At that moment, I was irate and had the impulse to call to tell off them. However, I managed to calm myself down before we entered the center.

As a consequence of their absences, we had to lie to cover up for them. Luckily, the interviewee was a nice guy and the interview was able to carry out even though many problems occurred in between. I really appreciate all the help he had given us.

The e4's BBQ came straight after the interview. Initially, I thought it was only e4 who’s coming. However, it turned out to be an e4 & 5’s gathering. But that doesn’t make much difference to me as it’s was good to see all my old classmates. They hadn’t changed much.

Being back at the school brings back all the memorable memories of mine. The field where we had our golf lessons, the hall where we had all our boring assemblies, the parade square where we had all the morning assemblies, the canteen with food that I missed, the class, library, music room, CO room, even the toilets does bring back memories. Those 4 years were a carefree and happiest part of my life.

Had badminton and a game of captain's ball with the girls bare footed at the parade square. I loved playing captain ball with my classmates. It was so long since I last exercised and the feeling is great.

It rains in the midst of the BBQ and we shifted to the hanging garden to continue BBQ-ing. I joined Yong Ying and helped with the BBQ for a while. It was hard to BBQ in the dark as we could not see whether the foods were ready. Then again, it was really nice of Lao niang and Wilson to fan for us as the heat emitted from the pits was really intense. After a while, I went for a drink and joined the group that were listening attentively to Mr Yap ghost stories. I could almost visual it as the stories goes on. At the end of it all, I was really lucky to get a ride from Mr Yap to Hougang plaza.
